Conflict Resolutions

The GSIC provides conflict resolution services to members of the Gambian Muslim community. We understand that conflicts can arise in various settings and can have a negative impact on individuals and communities. Our team of trained professionals is dedicated to helping individuals and groups resolve conflicts in a peaceful and respectful manner. We offer a variety of conflict resolution services including mediation, arbitration, and negotiation. Our goal is to help parties in conflict find a mutually acceptable solution, and to promote understanding and reconciliation. Our services are available to anyone in need, regardless of background, religion or ethnicity. We believe that the peaceful resolution of conflicts is essential to the well-being of our communities.

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favour of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favour, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided” (Quran, 3:103)

“The best amongst you is the one who is best to his family, and I am the best amongst you to my family” (Prophet Muhammad PBUH)

“And if two parties of the believers fall into a quarrel, make peace between them, but if one of them acts wrongfully towards the other, fight the one that acts wrongfully until it complies with the command of Allah” (Quran, 49:9)
